Salta Basket is a professional basketball team from the city of Salta, created in 2014. It participated in the second national division, and in 2017 it was promoted to La Liga, being the first team from Salta participating in the highest division of Argentine basketball. They were the first friendly matches for those led by Leandro Hiriart, in the middle of the preseason and in search of the best version for the season of Liga Argentina 2018/2019.
